28-year-old Zakir Safiullin is a vastly experienced Lightweight (60 kg) boxer who has a accumulated a 2-3 record this season in WSB. After losing three of his first four fixtures in the Regular Season, Safiullin came alive in the semi-finals as he produced a magnificent performance against Artur Subkhankulov.
