Ali had to negotiate some rapid-fire attacks from his opponent as Ahyoun looked to seize the early initiative in front of the Casablanca crowd, making the manner of the Brit’s win even more impressive as he turned the bout on its head, finding his range and rhythm with some unavoidable combinations in the second period. With his straight left repeatedly finding its target, Ali quickly amassed a series of point-scoring shots to carve out a comfortable advantage and dominate the third and fourth rounds and earn his third win out of three for the season by unanimous decision.
