With a boxing heritage of more than 100 years, Mexico has forged a strong international image as a country for creating amazing boxers. The Mexico City Guerreros team is managed independently by Gerardo Saldivar with the support of Televisa Deportes Network (a cable television network who's signal provides 24/7 Sport events to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and the Dominican Republic) and the Mexican Boxing Federation.

EVENT DIRECTOR
Gerardo Saldivar

The Mexico City Guerreros' management team is led by Event Director Gerardo Saldivar, who has nearly 10 years of experience in sports management. Saldivar broadened his vision of sport by graduating from the FIFA Masters, a prestigious one-year program granted by three European Universities (Leicester, SDA Bocconi and Neuchatel) in Humanities, Management and Law of Sport. He earned his MBA in Universidad de la Americas and Bachelor in Sports Management from the UANL in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Mariana Caballero

Mariana Caballero is a current amateur boxer who was Mexican National Champion in 2010 in the flyweight division and has a record of 57 - 49 - 8. She has been on the National Team since 2008. Caballero has collaborated with the Mexican National Federation on national events and international AIBA events and is a recent grad student in Business Administration.
