The logo of the Astana Arlans WSB team

The Astana Arlans team is owned by the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation (KBF). The KBF is the sport's national governing body and unites 14 regional federations with a total of around 20 000 registered boxers.

As a national governing body, the KBF is responsible for all the administration, development and promotion of amateur boxing throughout Kazakhstan.  The KBF is a non-profit organisation and is thus overseen by a board of directors.

The board sets the KBF's annual budget and is responsible for the sport's long term financial stability.

The board comprises of President, Executive Director, four Vice-Presidents, Head of Office and six Coordinators. All board members are elected every 4 years by the General Conference of regional federations.
