Despite a difficult start to life in the World Series of Boxing
(WSB), the Indian based Franchise the Venky's Mumbai Fighters have
managed to bring a party atmosphere every time their boxers have
taken to the ring. Some of the country's biggest film stars have
also been present to lend their support to the young team.
When they faced the Dynamo Moscow last weekend, recognisable
amongst the crowd were some of Bollywood's star names, including
Raj Kundra, the husband of Shilpa Shetty; heartthrob and actor Sonu
Sood and actress Minissha Lamba.
This is a great advert for the Venky's Mumbai Fighters and the
WSB competition as a whole, so if you fancy being part of the
experience, watch some high-octane boxing and do some celebrity
spotting, come down to the T-Box Mobile Arena at the InOrbit Mall
on Friday 3 February at 20.00 to support the Fighters as the face
the Bangkok Elephants in Group A.
