Ahead of next weekend's deadline for boxers to commit to the WSB, three boxers from Turkmenistan who competed in last year's AIBA World Championships in Milan have signalled their commitment to the tournament.

One of two Turkmen boxers hoping for a selection in the WSB's 61kg class is Serdar Hudayberdiyev, who made the quarter finals of the 2006 Asian Games in Doha and the quarter finals in Milan in September last year.

Amangeldi Hudaybergenov is also hoping for a 61kg place in one of the twelve franchise teams. He was a bronze medallist at the 2005 Asian Junior championships and was selected on the national team for the 2006 Asian Games and the 2009 AIBA World Championships.

The country's third Milan graduate, Omar Mamedshayev, will be hoping to impress the WSB head coaches looking for talent in the 73kg division.
