Magical Mexico Guerreros destroy unsteady Ukraine Otamans 5-0

An incredible home performance in Aguascalientes resulted in a whitewash 5-0 victory for Mexico Guerreros over an out of form Ukraine Otamans.

This result is the third consecutive win for the Mexican Franchise, while Ukraine have now lost four of their last five fixtures and slip below the Guerreros in the Group A table.

2-1 Mexican Flyweight (52 kg) Orlando Huitzil Ahuatl opened the evening by winning every round against 1-2 Azat Usenaliev.

The fifth ranked WSB Lightweight (60 kg) Lindolfo Delgado also achieved success in all five rounds of his contest with Ukraine’s 1-1 Oleg Prudkyi.

Mexico’s overall win was assured at Welterweight (69 kg) when debutant Héctor Andrés Reyes Anguiano outpointed Serhii Bohaychuk.

Another comprehensive Guerreros success was achieved by Light heavyweight (81 kg) Carlos Mina who secured his second win of Season V against Denys Solonenko.

The whitewash was confirmed at Super heavyweight (91+ kg) as Edgar Ramirez won a close match with Taras Neudachyn.

Mexico Guerreros travel to Morocco Atlas Lions next week, while Ukraine Otamans face British Lionhearts in London.
