Puerto Rico Hurricanes and Caciques Venezuela strive for success in San Juan

After two victories in their opening World Series of Boxing (WSB) matches, the Puerto Rico Hurricanes lost away to Italia Thunder last week, but will aim to shake off that disappointment at home to Caciques Venezuela.

The Venezuelan Franchise have lost two out of three bouts this season, however their squad in this match contains many of the boxers who shockingly defeated Azerbaijan Baku Fires two weeks ago.

Coliseíto Pedrín Zorrilla, San Juan is the venue for this Group B match, and on Saturday February 7th fans across the world can watch free, live and on demand from 19:00 (GMT -5) at AIBABoxingTV.com.

In action first are the Flyweights (52 kg) where the exciting 1-0 Puerto Rican Olympian Jeyvier Cintrón Ocasio competes against Eduard Johan Bermúdez Salas who outperformed Azerbaijan’s Elvin Mamishzada in his first WSB match.

Lightweight (60 kg) Jose Rosario is also riding a winning streak in the competition, which he puts on the line against Venezuelan debutant Fradimil Macayo who won a bronze medal at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

Puerto Rican Welterweight (69 kg) Nicklaus Flaz lost his first match of the season, and will be eager to make amends against Gabriel Maestre Perez who widely outpointed Yauheni Ramashkevich in his opening WSB bout.

In the penultimate match in Puerto Rico, home favourite Joseph Laboy seeks his first APB win when he faces 1-0 Albert Ramon Ramirez Duran.

The last fight is at Super heavyweight (91+ kg) where Venezuelan Edgar Ramon Munoz Mata, who sensationally stopped the formerly number one ranked Arslanbek Makhmudov in his first WSB match fights the exciting Clayton Laurent Jr.
