USA looking to make presence felt in Group B

World Series of Boxing (WSB) Season III will see its American presence strengthen next week-end when the USA Knockouts take to the ring in the competition curtain raiser. The team’s new branding will ensure a much bigger audience and broader appeal and is set to take the country by storm. The Knockouts will be the perfect platform for the US’s fledgling talents to make its mark in the world’s premiere team boxing competition and we cannot wait to see the result.

USA Knockouts will partner with Roy Englebrecht Promotions for their inaugural fight this season. Roy Englebrecht, a veteran in the boxing industry and promoter of the Fight Club OC series will serve as the squad’s operations consultant for the season’s opener at ‘The Hanger’.

“I am pleased to assist in the launch of the World Series of Boxing USA Knockouts in Orange County, and I am excited with ‘The Hangar’ at the OC Fair and Event Center as the team’s first venue. There promises to be huge support the USA Knockouts,” Englebrecht said.

World Series of Boxing competitors won seven medals at the 2012 Olympic Games, including two silvers. Michael Conlan of Ireland, a bronze medallist in London at Flyweight (52kg) will be one of the leaders of the USA Knockouts.
